Wow

These two stories were something else. The reason I only gave it 4 starts is because some of the settings did not agree with each other in the stories. That being said. The first story was about a abandon baby on the castle steps. Amber after growing up is being sent to a boarding school, but what she learns secrets about herself have been kept from her what will she do? Will Bradley ever care for her? Will he hate what her soul is? The second story is totaly out there. Dark and sinister. Allison has mommy issues and when sent to boarding school has to do a dare. What will happen when she goes into room thirteen? What is happening to her?.

Was a bit of a challenge

This one was somewhat hard for me to get fully into, the characters were well written but the story itself a bit difficult for me, I had a hard time following along, I’ll continue to give out a go bit I just had a hard time sticking with it

Shivery Tales

This book includes two stories:

• The Shape of My Soul
• The Invisible Girl in Room Thirteen

In “THE INVISIBLE GIRL IN ROOM THIRTEEN”, Alison Locke is dropped off at a boarding school by her mom without explanation, although she figured it was what her mother wanted for herself and Alison’s stepfather. So now she is ready to go into a room carrying only a Ouija board so she could talk to the dead girl and face her ghost.

Lily, the girl who used to live in this room killed herself fifteen years ago because of a boy. Rachel and Sinéad sent Alison on this dare to find out if that was true. The girls had told her Lily died by drowning in a lake. But later they said she died in her room and didn’t clarify which story was true. But walking past the door each day gave her shivers.

Entering the room alone, Alison’s breath frosted and a gust of wind blew her bangs back. She would have to stay in the room alone until midnight. She put the Ouija board down, and the planchette moved to the word “Hello”. She ran toward the door and slipped, banging her head hard. She couldn’t stand right away, and the planchette began to move and write something. Would she find out about why Lily killed herself? Or was she in for something far bigger than a simple answer to her question?

Refreshing

It's different and refreshing. The characters are realistic and the plot was good. The story moves at a slow pace but it's interesting and unique. I liked it.

great horror romance

I really enjoyed these two stories, it was what I was hoping for from a horror romance novel. It had great characters and they felt like real people that I was hoping for. It was written well and I enjoyed the way Lynette Ferreira wrote this.
