Refreshing Take on the Zombie Apocalypse. Undead Girl is such a refreshing take on the zombie apocalypse. I’ve read a lot of books in this genre, but this one really stood out with its unique approach and character focus. It’s not your typical survival for the sake of survival story, it felt new, creative, and engaging from beginning to end. Genesis and Eli were the heart of the book for me. I loved following their journey, and the way they were written made them feel so real and easy to root for. They brought depth and heart to a story that could have easily just leaned on action and gore. While it wasn’t super scary, it had a steady tension that kept me turning pages, and a few twists along the way that I didn’t see coming. Those surprises helped keep the story fresh and made it more than just another zombie tale. Overall, this book had everything I wanted interesting characters, a unique spin on the undead, and a story that kept my attention throughout. If you’re looking for a zombie apocalypse read that feels different and a little more character-driven, this one’s definitely worth picking up.

A comforting peace of mind, a truley amazing highschool love story. I first want to start by saying that i normally do not ever read romance novels, but after reading "The beginning of a life misunderstood" I then became interested in other novels by the author. So of course like any other sceptic I only downloaded the sample of this book and after reading through the first few chapters I had to purchase it. I am currently only on chapter 11 but it is by far one of the best novels i have read in very long time and also very intriging because as I am reading I am also trying to figure out where the title of the book came from and now I think i understant. Now I have been out of highschool for years now but I can fully 100% feel every ounce of feelings that Elizabeth has for Jared because I once felt like that towards somebody, however the world happens but this but brings me back to a comforting and peaceful place in my life which i had forgotten existed. I just want to say thank you for writing such a wounderful book and keep them coming.

A relatively short read following 16-year-old Megan who has dreams for her future and what she wants to do, but all of those thoughts are halted when she finds out she's pregnant with a baby the father wants nothing to do with. In weighing her decisions in the short time she has to decide, she goes to a home for unwed mothers to be around girls in similar situations. While there, she meets Edwina, who is also pregnant, and her brother Marcus, who shows a lot of interest in getting to know her. She wants nothing to do with boys, considering the circumstances as to why she's there, but he's very persistent. I like that she gets a second chance with someone that actually seems to care about her and her baby, unlike the father. You don't see a lot of books like this and I liked that it was different. It shows the struggle of being young, pregnant, and not knowing what to do. You see a little glimpse of what the other girls there have decided too, and the levels of support they have. I went into this one pretty blind, just picked it because I liked the cover, and it was definitely not at all what I thought it would be - in a good way - I enjoyed it. The characters are likable. It's well written and interesting, and it has a cute little romance going on too, as she's trying to figure out what the future holds.

You don't want to miss this one! This has an epically original approach to the zombie apocalypse genre! The characters are brought to life and even the zombies are tweaked to be something more than I've read in hundreds of others. I couldn't put it down and would highly recommend it to the zombie loving readers out there!

A Great Read with an Exciting Climax! Right from the start, I saw a similarity to Twilight, but that was okay because I loved the premise of that story. Very soon, that was forgotten as it went on its own course, building up to an exciting climax. Strangely, or maybe not, although the description grabbed me, the book was so much better. Immediately, I found myself enjoying it. The idea of a girl and her family entering the Witness Protection programme, and traveling from London all the way to Australia was fascinating. Why? Would they settle? Or would they be found? After all, that's what happens in books. A really good book that I recommend.

I Cried... and for a guy to admit that, well, that just shows how good this book is...

***BIG Spoiler Alert***

This book not only has a happy ending, it has two happy endings. When you get to the very last page, and you wonder if what you're think happened has actually happened - well, it has. And that was where I had the biggest smile at the end of a book in years.

Elizabeth gets moved with her family from California to Ireland. She hates it. But everything happens for a reason.

She meets her soul mate in Jared and then something terrible happens. But everything happens for a reason.

She meets Joshua who believes she is her soul mate but she takes her time going from friend to romance. Then something God-awful happens. But everything happens for a reason.

Elizabeth reunites with Jared and they get the happy ending you've been hoping for. But everything happens for a reason, and EVERYONE gets a happy ending. Trust me on this. She must break with Jared in order to meet Joshua. It is absolutely necessary.

If you believe in reincarnation, then you will realize that not all soul mates are meant to be romantically linked. Look at your family. And wonder...

BTW, this book has the most heartbreaking voice mail in history and that is where I cried. But everything happens for a reason.

Follows Caitlyn as she struggles with depression after her boyfriend commits suicide, and to spread it onto a character in a life simulation game - Hannah. They both struggle with loss and grief - Caitlyn's boyfriend and Hannah's parents (death/leaving her). The big difference between the two of them is that Hannah has hope. They face a lot of parallels - they're two young girls who have fallen in love and faced a lot of loss and grief, and in the end they're broken girls trying to find hope in the end. It was definitely an interesting and unique take. I don't think I've read anything like this. I was definitely interested, but it was a little slow. It was definitely a lot heavier than I thought it would be. I went into this one pretty blind so I didn't know what it was about. It touches on family, first loves, depression and death. It has lots of layers to it - to the characters, feelings, and their stories. It was definitely interesting to see the POVs from Caitlyn and Hannah.

I got so wrapped up in this story. The first thing I really liked about this book is the fact that the book focused on male witches which I don't see often in books featuring witches and magic. The brothers Kieran and Jayden try desperately throughout the book to end the terrible curse that has been thrust on the two of them and Heather over 300 years ago. Heather appears to be the damsel in distress at first but it became clear to me that she is the only one that can save Kieran and Jayden. Heather is jaded about love but love is the only thing that can save her. This book was so well written and had such an interesting and fresh storyline. This book was able to balance teen angst, love, and magic. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Very good! I genuinely really enjoyed this novella. It is about an opposites attract, unlikely-yet-perfect couple: one is forced to be perfect whilst the other is expected to fail. They have a short lived but love filled relationship. This was a brilliant book, it was from a third person perspective which allowed broader thoughts and ideas into the story rather than a character focused narrative > this is almost always done horribly which always makes me detest the writing techniques however this was brilliant! It effortlessly swapped character Point Of Views (POVs), their thoughts, emotions and what was going on in their lives at that time. I would recommend this novella; a short, sweet but no happy ending love story.
