nice love story

Wiliam the Pirate, also a vampire had fallen in love with Susanna. Their story was not the typical one and the ending was shocking but heroic.

For those who had loved, this will be a great story to read/to have. Just be prepared, not sure if you can stand their love. A feeling of sorry for a lot of the characters. This is my first story from this author, definitely not the last.

William and Susanna

A very interesting approach to the storyline. Susanna boards a ship to France to Francois, the man her father promised her to, but on the way, the ship is raided by vampire pirates, where she meets William, the leader. Filled with danger, intrigue, and some twists. Hooks you from the start

Interesting and exciting

Susanna was promised to Francois because her father had left her and her mother and squandered all of their money. Susanna’s ship ride to France to be with Francois was captured and raided by vampire pirates. William was the leader of a band of vampire pirates. When his crew overtook Susanna’s ship and he saw her he claimed her for his own because he immediately fell in love. The interesting and exciting love triangle between Susanna, William and Francois is filled with danger, intrigue, betrayal and a few twists thrown in. Good read.

Quick Read

I've read several books written by Lynette Ferreira; she has done a great job at writing a good book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Love is complicated and the author does a great job ...

Love is complicated and the author does a great job of proving that. The prose was poetic and the tension was real. All those thoughts and feelings you had when you found love or thought you found love are here.

The ending was not what I expected.

Next Book in the Series

The saga continues with heart-pounding intensity in the second installment of the Vampire Pirate series — The Vampire Pirate's Daughter.
